Starting summer 2018, Crean Folk Camp is a week-long course for instrumentalists exploring musicality in folk music and beyond, focusing on melody, improvisation, ensemble-playing and composition.
Based in the beautiful far reaches of Cornwall near Land’s End, we invite you to come be part of a new community, living, playing, cooking and learning together. Open to instrumentalists of all backgrounds, we will delve into folk music, Cornish traditions and ourselves.
This year’s tutors are:
Tommie Black-Roff – Accordion
Hilary Coleman – Clarinet
Flora Curzon – Fiddle
James Patrick Gavin – Fiddle & Guitar
Dominic Henderson – Uilleann Pipes & Whistles
Gool Peran Lowen! Happy St Piran’s Day!
